NEW BLOG... Please follow me on it as I'll be getting rid of this one...

Some newbies.

I've not 'blogged' in some time now. I've found myself horrendously busy with University and my job. Plus, I'd moved over to Tumblr for a while, although it's full of 'reblogging' and there's nothing much original on there. Just pictures and over angsty teens exploiting their innermost feelings...

This is a gorgeous Camel dress I found in Zara. (£35.99.) I absoloutley adore the flared skirt and pretty bow. I've promised myself that i'll keep it for Christmas day...but to be honest, I don't think that's going to happen.

Also, bought a Chanel Liquid colour. 'Lipgloss' as such, isn't my usual...I normally go for a Matte lipstick, but I adore this colour so much and it's so nice to wear. I am utterly in love with it. #75. Dragon.

New hair.

Being a restless person, I'm always trying to change something about me. I constantly find myself in the bathroom with a bottle of hair dye. I've gone from very dark brown (my natural colour), to black, to blue black, to black with bits of blue...to normal again, to chesnut red, to bright red, to purple, then to black blue again. Then over the past few months, I let those hair colours grow out, then realised I was somewhat ginger still underneath all of it, due to the red dye...so I dyed it black again, then purple and last week, I accidently dyed it bright pink with some bleaching stuff...needless to say, I then dyed it back to black, although my roots are STILL pink.

So I asked myself, "What's next?'' and I thought about getting my Bettie Bangs back, but then realised i've cut my hair too short now for them...so I came across a picture of Immodesty Blaize and decided that I am going to do THIS:

Hat... £15, Vintage shop in Chester. It was a present from Andrew. :) The hat is probably around late 1930's, but the flower spray and net were added later. The bad sewing along the ridge gave that one away;) It's better than my sewing anyway!

Meow.

Yesterday evening, my Mum and Dad called me downstairs to look out of the window. Behind our wall, crying, was a kitten. I ran out with some milk straight away and it let me stroke it. By this point, I was sobbing my eyes out as it was shivering and soaked right through. So I brought him in. He's still in my house now. We think he's been dumped and mistreated because of the way he runs away sometimes and how certain things will really frighten him. :(

But he's safe with me. I don't know what we're calling him yet, but I love him so, so much. We both fell asleep on the sofa this morning...he's my little friend! It's a literal dream come true, as i've never been allowed to have a cat, we've always had budgies you see. But he seems to get on okay with Belle and Misty! Here's some pictures (:

Bit of Betty Boop's Halloween.

This is Halloweeeeen; a short halloweeny post.

At this time of year, I am always, always excited for Halloween. Ever since I was a child, it has been my favourite time of year.

That picture ^ up there...reminds me of Leanne...coincidently, I am going to her party this Halloween! Rum, cake, vodka jelly's and lots of traditional Halloween fun;)



For my costume this year, I am still debating on whether or not to go as the traditional witch...or Morticia Addams.

And of course....Tim Burton watching is much needed. As is plenty of my old horror movie collection.

I bought my costume, a long black dress with a hat and belt, from Kitty who owns Curious Orange in Liverpool's 'Grand Central Arcade' (formerly Quiggins.) for 15.00 and the tache for 1.00. Bargain. I always see and buy the most beautiful dresses in her shop. I am going to upload some pictures of my new dress that I bought from her. It's a beautiful, floral, 1950's dress with a high collar and shell button design.
