Jazzzz.

words cannot express my love for the music of this era. Ahhhhhhh. Perfec'

Bit of Betty Boop's Halloween.

Gotta love the Boop.

This is Halloweeeeen; a short halloweeny post.

At this time of year, I am always, always excited for Halloween. Ever since I was a child, it has been my favourite time of year.

That picture ^ up there...reminds me of Leanne...coincidently, I am going to her party this Halloween! Rum, cake, vodka jelly's and lots of traditional Halloween fun;)

For my costume this year, I am still debating on whether or not to go as the traditional witch...or Morticia Addams.

And of course....Tim Burton watching is much needed. As is plenty of my old horror movie collection.

I bought my costume, a long black dress with a hat and belt, from Kitty who owns Curious Orange in Liverpool's 'Grand Central Arcade' (formerly Quiggins.) for 15.00 and the tache for 1.00. Bargain. I always see and buy the most beautiful dresses in her shop. I am going to upload some pictures of my new dress that I bought from her. It's a beautiful, floral, 1950's dress with a high collar and shell button design.

Have a look at Kitty's shop here; http://www.facebook.com/permalink.php?story_fbid=122665194458515&id=1638502183&ref=notif¬if_t=like#!/CuriousOrangeShop

Also, for anyone who is interested, or indeed in Liverpool on the 4th of November...you need to get down to her Psycho Motel night in Heebie Jeebies. It's set to be amaaaaazing. And is only 5.00 on the door! OH, and it's fancy dress.

Some favourite Lugosi pictures

With good old Deppy in Tim Burton's 'Ed Wood'. ;)

I'm afraid I am being very unoriginal and not writing much at all of late, but for aesthetic pleasure....

Tiger, tiger.

I know I've been posting sooooo many videos of late, but I just adore the Tiger Rag too much to not share it with my followers!

A little vintage lingerie video.

In my opinion, it is absolutley KEY when attempting a vintage look, to own the right underwear.

A History of Horror; Mark Gatiss.

This is a little something for all of you fellow Horror Fans...well, the horror fans who's passion lies in the good old stuff, and not the chopping-up-guts-to-sicken-and-not-frighten-you kind!

I watched this on BBC4, go and watch it quick before it goes off the internet in 19 days!!

Thanks :)

I got another little award thing. So, to pass it on;

I wanna give it to
Leanne; my wonderful, talented and beautiful friend. Her blog is fantastic!!! http://theramblingsof-misszeppelin.blogspot.com/2010/10/passing-it-on.html

And I also want to give it to another fantastic lady from Germany!

Camel, camel, cameeeeel.

This season, I've been embracing camel. I bought this skirt from Zara the other week and it is possibly one of my favourite items of clothing in my wardrobe.
My Ma-Ma (Grandma) also gave me a camel coat, which is gorgeous and so, so warm.

Needless to say, the reason for embracing camel is as such; The Mummy. I'm sad, what of it?

HAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

"Miss Crawford has always been envious of Bette's voluptuous figure, as a matter of fact Joan used to borrow Bette's bras to use for shoulder pads.''

- what a shout!! (even though I love Crawford ahaha)! I love Vincent Price too much.

La de la de laaa

I'm finally starting singing again, now I have Friday's pretty much free. I've moved away from Opera completley now. Especially as I almost had an attack on stage last year. Instead, I've moved towards jazz more now. I've been looking through my music collection to find something I can sing this Fryupday. Here's a couple of songs I'm thinking of doing. ;)

Julie London; Cry me a River.

Patti Page; Can't get used to losing you. I love Patti Page, and the Andy Williams version of this song is one of my all time faves.

There's loads more, I just don't have a cluuuuuuue what to do. Suggestions would be welcomed ;)

My problem is my incredible lack of confidence and stage fright.... It's just something I've got to get over I think!

Planning on getting more tattoos.

I want some sailor-esque tattoos. Preferably a fat Pirate Ship on my right leg and some swallows on my hands. My boyfriend was once more intolerable & said that tattoos are awful on women and that I should rid myself of mine...I really do need to find the correct moment to dump the blundering fool.

I love tattoos.
