I've finally got some pictures of my 1947 Brownie e model Kodak Box Camera and a picture of my Marc Chantal bag, which i'm not overly fond of because it looks like someone has attacked it with a sewing machine, but I do like the clasp and it was only £1.50...

Skin Whitening Products.

Last night I watched a really eye opening programme on Asian girls using skin whitening products. I found it quite sad that these girls see that 'pale is beautiful.' Asian girls are beautiful anyway! No-matter what shade colour they are. It's sad that we all feel that we need to be a different colour skin to be beautiful. It's exactly like the way English girls tan themselves. It just provokes the question, why can't we be happy with the skin we're in?
I'm naturally pale as anything and I love it. I've never wanted to be any different even though the fact i'm practically a ghost isn't exactly fashionable!

Today I stroked a Lemurs Tail.

1947 Kodak.

On Sunday, I visited Carew Market in Tenby and purchased an antique camera for 50p; a bargain Dickinson would have been jealous of. The man who sold it to me had a big white beard and looked somewhat lof an eccentric. He told me i'd just bought ''a peice of history'' and it turns out I have. It's not as old as i'd have liked, but it's a 1947 model non-the-less and I plan on putting it to good use.

It has a vertically striped front; metal wind knob and release button and holds a 620 film. It's influenced me to begin collecting antique camera's. I plan on buying a Victorian one next or a 1987 Kodak model. And thus, the obsession begins. I also bought a vintage bag and an antque lighter which needs a new flint and more fuel. The lighter was 50p and the bag was £1.50. Bargain, bargain, bargain.

I'll put some pictures up when I get a chance. The camera came with a little brown satchel too:)

CAMERA.

I need to get my camera developed!! All of my wonderful pictures from Scotland are on it. It's a wonderful camera, but I can't wait to get my digital SLR for Christmas. It will be so much easier!

Back to Basics

I have been knitting. Yes, I may have dropped a few stitches here and there, and there may be a few holes, but give me a break, i'm only learning! ;)
